The 60 x 30 Handball County Championships were held in Ballymacelligott during the week. The results are as follows:
U12 Girls
Sharon Twomey (Ballymac) defeated Naomi Sullivan (Ballymac) 15/1, 15/2.
U13 Girls.
Brenda Carmody defeated Maedbh Prendiville 15/6, 15/7.
U14 Girls.
Ashley Prendiville (Ballymac) defeated Lisa Falvey (Ballymac) 15/10, 15/12.
U12 Boys:
Cian Counihan (Ballymac) defeated William Prenderville (Ballymac) 15/6, 15/5.
U13 Boys
Brendan Crowe (Ballymac) defeated Colm O Muircheartaigh (An Gaeltacht) 15/7, 15/8.
The under 15 and under 16 boys will be played later this week.

Upcoming Tournaments.
· The Annual Jimmy O Brien Tournament held in the 60 x 30 Court will be held on Monday 5th August at 1.30pm at Ballymacelligott Handball Club. This may change depending on when Kerry play Galway next weekend.
Congratulations to the Ballymacelligott Community Employment Scheme on the launch of the their very enjoyable video last Wednesday night. The work put into the project by the committee and scheme workers over the past year was well worth it all.
