On Wednesday evening last players from The Gaeltacht Handball Club visited Ballymac Handball Club. This was the first time that our senior players played with Gaeltacht players and all had a great evening. We all hope that this type of interclub "friendly" games continue as it is great for all the players.
The Kerry U12/13 team defeated Mayo in the All Ireland semi-final on Sunday last in Roscommon. They went on to play Tyrone in the final and were defeated 75/20. Congratulations to our Club players Brendan Crowe and Cian Counihan on brining All Ireland silver medals to our Club and Kerry.
Padraig McCarthy also won an All Ireland silver colleges medal on Sunday last. He was defeated in the Community Colleges All Ireland final by Gary McRory, Tyrone 21/12, 21/8. All in all it has been a very successful year for us in the 40 x 20 court.
