Masters in Action
Thursday
night last in Ballymacelligott John O Donnell (Tralee) and Pat
McCarthy (Ballymacelligott) lost their semi-final game in a
tiebreaker. The Kerry pair won their first game 21/12, lost
the second 13/21 and were 10/8 up in the tiebreaker when Pat
McCarthy suffered an injury. They went on to lose 21/13 in what
turned out to be a keenly contested game.
The teams were tied four times in the second game and three
times in the third game. The packed audience in Ballymacelligott
were very appreciative of the gallant efforts made by both players
and gave a standing ovation to the Kerry pair when they left
the court.

last weekend in various venues around the country.
