Maria Daly adds another senior title to her belt.

Maria Daly who, playing her first year as a minor has won both titles in 40 x 20 and 60 x 30. Last Saturday she defeated Patricia Doyle of Wicklow to take the Minor 60 x 30 in style with a win 21/17, 21/7. Maria has now brought two senior titles to her Club Ballymacelligott and Kerry in 2002.

The All Ireland Final played in Ballina, Co. Tipperary on Saturday was a game that neither competitor played to their full potential and Maria won it easily in the second game.

Maria is eligible to play minor again next year and because she won minor she can play senior in both grades.

Sharon Daly and Tracey Buckley also played in the Ladies Senior singles All Ireland semi-finals last weekend. Anna Wrynn (Kildare) defeated Sharon Daly 21/10, 21/1. Fiona Healy defeated Tracey Buckley 21/18, 21/8.
